Artscape is an organization united by our passion to make mental wellness a priority. We believe each individual has the potential to attain a state of mental wellbeing if they are educated about coping strategies and techniques of self-care.
Mental Wellness matters, because everything we do and every emotion we feel relates to our well-being. In turn, our Mental well-being directly affects our actions and emotions. It’s an ongoing circle. Moreover, our Mind and Body are deeply connected and react to each other. Therefore, to achieve optimal wellness, it is important to care for the Mind as much as we care for the Body.
Artscape uses Expressive Art Therapy to help individuals, in any circumstance or situation, irrespective of age and gender, to become aware of and make a choice towards pursuing a healthy and fulfilling life. The Sessions allow beneficiaries to connect with their own self, explore their emotions, become self – reliant, belong and contribute positively to the community and environment.
